The crown jewel of the ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy is the 300+ hr Diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards.  The program has produced the finest philosophic minds in the profession.

e89d6e6c1fe0b6c75bb2183ced5d586cThis course is an intense study of Chiropractic theory and its application to practice and patient care.  “The degree of D.C., Doctor of Chiropractic, means learned in the science of Chiropractic, for the word doctor, is derived from the Latin word, doctus, meaning learned.  Later, when the course was extended so that students could become more proficient in Chiropractic, the degree of Ph.C. was established. Ph.C. means Philosopher of Chiropractic.  A graduate with a Ph.C., in addition to being a Doctor, is also a Philosopher.”  So wrote R.W. Stephenson, DC, PhC in 1927.

Chiropractors who have completed year one and have their LCP, ACP, or SCP are eligible to enroll in years two and three.  Following the LCP 2023 course, the 2nd & 3rd years of the program (to complete the DPhCS) is set to begin in the Spring of 2024.  Registration is now open!  Contact us for further information.

ONLY FOUR WEEKENDS EACH YEAR!

Beginning in March, this course has just a four-weekend commitment each year, and four self-paced online units to reinforce our live sessions.  You will learn our philosophy in-depth, as well as come away able to articulate these important concepts to your community and build the understanding you need them to have.  info@chiroprogress.org

OUR CURRICULUM

The Center is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing you the very best experience—explained in the most organized and explicitly-designed manner.  As such, The DPhCS is the ONLY course in the world adhering to the syllabus designed by the Council on Chiropractic Philosophy.  Dr. Barge and his original team he began the Council with, have done a brilliant job in making this course as perfect as possible.  There is NO equal!

OUR SETTING

Is it possible to have a more appropriate venue arranged than at Palmer College of Chiropractic?  It was here that our philosophy was fleshed out by gifted minds over our formative years.  It was here that every brilliant mind from DD Palmer to Dr. Fred Barge, taught philosophy, and asked the questions that set the stage for your practice.  No matter where you graduated, Palmer houses the history of YOUR profession.  It is YOUR home, and now, the place where you will grow into the Chiropractor you knew you could.  The Center is proud to have arranged our use of this magnificent setting!

Gary Street, DC, LCP, DPhCS, PhC
